Y., and professor of electrical engineering at Union col- lege, in his lecture in the east physics lecture room yesterday afternoon, con eluded his discussion of Heaviside's operators, which he has been carrying on in a series of lectures in Ann Ar- bor during the past week. The lectures concerned the methods of simplification of mathematical pro- cesses which have been advanced by Arthur West Heaviside, English math- ematician, inventor of the Bridge sys- tem of telephony, and original in- vestigator of wireless telegraphy. Dr. Berg, who is at Ann Arbor as a guest of the University, spoke oh his general topic on Wednesday' and Thursday of this week in addition to today.
