wil be held Thursday afternoon, Prof.
H. A. Sanders of the Latin department
will.give an exhibit of papyri man-
uscripts and facsimiles and Dr. John
P. Titchener of the Greek depart-
ment will sneak on the three manuals
of military science.
Prof. A. R. Crittendon of the Latin
department will tell "What College
Freshmen Find Hardest in Latin" at
the Friday afternoon conference, while
Prof. J. E. Dunlap of the Latin de-
partment and Dr. Titchener will pre-
sent some illustrative material of in-
terest to classical teachers. Prof. A.
G. Canfield of the romance languages
! department will discuss the methods
measuring the results of foreign lan-
guage study.
The program for the history con-
ference includes addresses by Pro-
fessors O. W. Stevenson and A. L.
Cross of the history department.
Prof. D. L. Rich of the physics depart-
ment, R. K. McAlpine of the chem-
istry department and N. H. Buell of
the Ann Arbor high schol will talk
at the chemistry-physics conference
Thursday,'afternoon.
The mathematical conference will
be addressed by Professors H. C. Car-
ver, John W. Bradshaw, and Louis
Karpinski, all of the mathematics de-
partment while Prof. Oran Raber
and Dr. William Seifriz of the botany
department will speak before the bio-
logical conference Thursday after-
noon. Prof. W. D. Henderson of the
extension department will address
the joint meeting of the commerical
and business schools conference which
is scheduled for Friday afternoon.
