Bok, $100,- A100 American peace award, for the b est pracetical plan leading to World peace, by John W. Davis, of the policy c omm tee of the award. Dr. Lever- m ore's plan was" numbered 1,49.6 in a Dotal of more than 22,00 received. '-Dr. Levermore is -one of the fre- most students of internatonal relations Ithe country, and is also a writer of considerable note. He was at one lime a college professor, and with the ~oning of the American Alssociation jar International Cooperation, was famedl its secretary. In this capacity he helped in the forming of the League .f Nations Non-Partisan association In 1923. lie is also the author of a series of year books on the subject of the League of Nations, three of which have already been published. 7Mr. Davis, of the policy committee, has coincident with the announcement of the winner, presented Dr. Lever- ,more with the $50,000 award, the first half, of the.
