Miss:Edith Deane,, of -New York;. ed-
itor of the interior decorating depart-
ment of "Today's Housewife,"~ will ar-
,rive in Ann Arbor Tuesday, March 4,
to open her series of lectures on in-
terior decorations, under the auspices
of the A. A. U. W. The talks will be
'2.from March 4 to 8, inclusive, at 4
o'clock in Alumni Memorial hall.
Tuesday, the subject delivered will
b""e "Homne Making"; Wednesday, "The
2Home 'and Its Needs"; Thursday, "The
importance that Color Plays in the
Home"; Friday, "Thp American
Awake." Miss Deane is ia graduate of
Vassar college, and is a 'member of the
firm of J. C,. Demarest and company,
of New YRork City, and of the Interior
Decorations association of that city.
'The tickets for the course have been
Splaced on sale at the following places:
Foster's Art shop, Graham's Book
stores, Quarry's Drug store, Wahr's
B ook store on State street, and Martha.
Cook and Betsy Barbour dormnitories,
and Helen Newberry 'house. The
course tickets are $2, and single lec-
ture is 7,5 cents. The talks are open

PERCENTAGE TO LEAGUE
More than $250 has recently been;
added to the University of Michigan'
League building fund through the co-
operation of Michigan women, both
students and graduates, who have done
shopping at 1-limeloch's clothing store
in Detroit. This shop goves 10 per-
cent of all purchases made by Mich-
igan shoppers to the league fund, the
offer being effective throughout the
whole year.
On Tuesday and 'Wednesday of each
Nveek, Miss Frances.,Ames, 23, as a rep-
resentative of the store, conducts-,.a
display at the Polly Little shop on
Thayer street, of articles which are .of
especial interest to. college women.

Detroit on Thursday.
