Fraternity Bowling
Phi Delta Theta went into the lead
in the Western Conference Bowling
tournament Friday 'night when they
rolled a score of 2585, passing the
former leaders, Phi Sigma Kappa,
who .are now in second place with a
total of 2445.
Paul Goebel, Phi Sigma Kappa, sur-
prised the spectators Thursday night
when he rolled a score of 563 for his
three games. This is the highest in-
dividual score of the tournament and
surpasses the highest score made in
the 'interclass tournament.
Results of the tournament from the
other Conference schools are not pro-
curable, only those of the fraterni-
ties rolling at the Union being in the
hands of the Intramural officials.

The engineers are making a great
showing in all of the class athletics
this year and running true to form in
league's standings. The junior en-
gineers and soph engineers are tied
for first place and will probably be
the twotteamsto represent this league
in the finals.
Soph fits, league 2, have empty lost
columns and will cinch the lead if
they win their last game. They are
being closely pressed by the senior'
engineers.
Following the example set by their
upperclassmen, the fresh engineers
have fought valiantly throughout the
present system an d at present h ave
not lost a game. They defeated the ,.
