Mather, and Prof. Elmer D. Mitchell, head of the intramural department. This action came as a4 result of the increasing popularity that the book has received. The volume was written by Coach Mthe and Professor Mitchell las't year, as a general treatise of the wholebaktalstain Itcvr everything from the fundamentals of the game through to the mnaking of the finished basket ball player. The first edition came out Oct. 1 with 2500 copies. Graham's book store was given the sole right of sale 'which was reportedi as. being heavy from the start. At present the edi- tion is nearly sold out and plans are being made for a second one.3 It is expected b)y the authors that through the syndicating of the book, it will gain more of a national reputa- tion, although orders have already been received from various schools and colleges throughout the country. The plan is to make the book both a guide to coaches and players in the4 way of the game, and a book of gen- eral instruction for the public. Ann Arbor Exchange Club Elects1 Prof. Leigh J.
