cpinion of Prof. Frank W. Wilson, of
the internal medicine department.
There has always been a great deal of
prejudice against athletics among; cer-
tain people, who allege that many ath-
letes die young, andI cite instanc es of
this to prove their contentions, says

Dr. Wilson states that it is a de-
finitely determined fact that exercise
does produce a temporary dlistention
of the heart, and1 in cases where large
amounts of exercise are taken over
prolonged periods, a slight permanent
enlargement takes place. However.
