For Pens and Good Rep iring RIDER . A9NN ARBOR ,FLOODED B STUDIENTSSEEKING WORKI Flooded with students desiring part time jobs of all kinds, Ann Arbor is at a loss to decide where to place them. All of the most desirable jobs, from the student point of view, were seized many days ago, in fact many of them were taken before men left last .Tune. These are the, room and board positions, such as waiter, fur- nace man, and others. They are also the more permanent and extend over more regular hours. Despite the great rush on the book- stores and others, clerks were plen- tiful and there are still many experi- enced ones trying to find work. House porters and bank tellers were taken.I One man at present, has his own1 truck here afid is looking for a de-I livery position of some kind. There was agreat demand for musicians but even this was quite easily met and now many good men 'in that field are idle. People have registered as having done farm work or gardening, but unfortunately there is very little of that to be done at this time of the year. Expert bookkeepers, electri- cians, plumbers, men skilled in abso- lutely every profession have reported to the University employment bureau. And men have been supplied to everyj year a big one in his particular sport and with the arrival of the winter season it is highly probable that *i Michigan will be represented by a powerful boxing team.
