Both teams were somewhat handi- capped by the wet field ,but never- theless both backfields came through with stellar playing. The Wolverines, although given stiff opposition by the Wisconsin aggregation, proved them- selves to be superior by a comfort- able margin. The game was marked by 4n un- usually large amount of open playing considering the condition of the- grid- iron, although both teams used straight line plunging for consistent gains. Cappon and Kipke proved to be the shining lights for Michigan, the two backfield men gaining the ground neededwh'en~ever called upon. Not far behind in their worth to the Wol- verine were the two Varsity ends,; Captain Goebel and Kirk.
