ONEVETERN REMANS FOR 1922 GOLF TEAM ALL OTHER MEMBERS OF LAST YEAR'S SQUAD LOST BY GRADUATION Coach Carlton Wels, present state golf champion, will only have one man back from last year's team with which to build around this year. Hugh Smith was one of the four men on last year's team, the rest being lost through graduation and ineligibility. However, Coach Wells says that the calibre men that are trying out makes AR C A D E COMING SUNDAY 4 it reasonably sure that an excellent team will be developed. The squad has not practiced this week because of the adverse weather. For this reason Coach Wells urges that every man on the squad turn out now and put as much work in as he is I able to. The men need plenty of practice before the opening meet of the fall season, as conditions have been unfavorable for good golfing. Bun Crosby, Bob Hastings,, and Broderick have been showing up in good form as have several others. In fact Hastings recently tied the course record making with a score of 32.
