The time for ~the class w-11 be from 4 to 5:30 o'clock each day:~ Some outside reading will be necessary but a great deal of, the work will consist of the planning of programs. The class will be conduct; ed on the plan of Girl Scout troop I meetings, arrangenments being made for lectures, practical demonstration, and group recreation. Work in Girl Scout leadership is being given to college women at the present time due to the troublesome problenm presented by girls of scout ,age, 9 to 14 years. Women who t~e the course will be equipped to con- duct Girl Scoutr movements in the comnmunities in which they live after graduation. Upon the completion of the course at Michrigan, Miss Haney will go to the University of Wisconsin to con- duct a similar course.
