ASSOCIATfON ELECTS OFFICERS

High School Athletic association on
I December 9 in Lansing.
Principal B. S. Rivett of the De-
troit Northwestern high school was
selected to fill the position of presi-
dent. Principals J. D. Gilbert, of
Grand Rapids Union, N. B. Sloan, of
Bay City Eastern, and L. L. Forsythe,
of Ann Arb r, were elected to the
Board of Conll.
A resolution was passed calling on
the board of control to enforce the
eligibility rules in high schools
throughout the state with the greater
severity, to the extent of barring cer-
taro schools from participation If
necessary. It was also suggested to
the board that the rules be amended
so as to prevent athletes from chang-
ing from one school to another mere-
'y for athletic gain.
