Two of these are pitchers one of whom has hurled for two years against teams of the big three while the other is a good sub- stitute pitcher. Princeton's baseball coach is not worrying for he has letter men back to fill every position with the excep- tion of first base and catch. The Tigers have a schedule calling for 27 games. March 12 will be the date of an intercollegiate indoor track meet to he held at the 22nd. regiment armory in New York City. This is the first time since the war that this champion- ship meet has taken place. Voteran of Three Years Captain Babcock was one of the four men who composed Michigan's first informal aquatic team three years ago. He has performed steadily ever since his first appearance -and has shown a gradual improvement that has placed him in the front rank of Michigan's breast stroke performers. As captain he will have a great re- sponsibility on his hands, as the team is, for the present, without a coach. Drulard Resigns Elmer C. Drulard, ex-'20, who, for three years, has served in that capaci- ty, has resigned to accept a position in Detroit. At the meeting of the swimmers on Wednesday night a vote of thanks was ordered sent to Coach Drulard for his services in building up the aggregation to its present formid- able strength. Thanks go to Hyde A vote of thanks was also given to Hyde, the retiring captain, for his splendid work during his two years' connection with the team. Hyde's services as captain will be missed, but he is sure to remain one of the strong- est members of the squad, and a man who can be relied upon to win many more events for the Maize and Blue. The vote for leader of the aggrega- tion was close, Babcock winning from Lyle Hubbard, '23, by a margin of one vote. Hubbard is the star distance man of the squad, and rated second only to Blinks of Chicago in middle western swimming circles.
