All sophomore women are requested to go to Barbour gymnasium at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon, Friday eve- ning, and Saturday morning to help the committee decorate for the Fresh- man spread. All junior girls must pay their tax of $1 for Junior Girls' play expenses by Dec. 3. This is payable at the office of the dean of women or to Margaret Kraus, '23. Women who wish to bring guests to the Freshman- spread Saturday night can obtain guest tickets at Dean Jor- dan's office. The Women's league party will not be given Friday afternoon owing to the fact that the gymnasium will be used by the Freshman spread committee. There will be a meeting of the Wo- men's Athletic association board at 7:30 o'clock tonight at the Delta Gam- ma house. Any senior women who have not been acting as senior advisers may call Camilla Hayden, '22, at 251, for an advisee. Due to the late entrance of some of the upperclass women, they have not been assigned advisers, so more senior women are needed to act in this capacity. Any entering upperclass women who have not heard from their senior ad- visers may confer with the chairman of the intercollegihte committee from 2 to 4 o'clock on Wednesday and Friday afternoons in the Women's league room at Barbour gymnasium. Gamma house. Tentative plans for the play are to be put under way before. the Christmas holidays. Senior society will meet at 5 o'clock this afternoon at Helen Newberry resi- dence. All junior and senior girls who are taking the course in advanced gym- nasium work are required to bring a heart and lung certificate from Dr. Walker to the office of the directoi as soon as possible. Whitman, rormer gov- ernor of New York, who has been prominent for years in judicial circle'i will speak in hiil auditorium Friday night, Dec. 9. His subject will be "Ad- ministration of Criminal Justice." MRS. STAIR TO TALK AT GIRL RESERVE LEADERS MEETING Mrs. Peter Stair will talk to the Girl Reserve Leaders' Training corps at 7 o'clock this evening at Newberry hall. Her topic will be "Girl Psycho- logy." Mrs. Stair is director of the girls' work division of the Methodist church in Michigan. The meeting was postponed last week owing to the large number of people who were out of town. )IANDOLIN CLUB PREPARES NUMBERS FOR JOINT RECITAL Two numbers are being prepared by the Girls' Mandolin club to be given in a joint concert with the University Girls' Glee club in January. Six first mandolins, six second mandolins, a guitar and a piano will be used.
