Notebook paper is now on sale at
the Women's league table in Univer-
sity hall.
Cover designs for the Junior Girls'
play scores must be submitted to Bar-
bara Baker, '23, 602 Monroe street,
before Dec. 12.
All sophomore women are requested
to go to Barbour gymnasium at 4
o'clock Friday afternoon, Friday eve-
ning, and Saturday morning to help
the committee decorate for the Fresh-
man spread.
The class in playground instruction
will meet for the first time at 2 o'clock
this afternoon.
The executive committee and advis-
ory members of the alumnae council
and the board of directors of the Wo-
men's league will meet at 4 o'clock
this afternoon in Alumni Memorial
hall.
All junior girls must pay their tax of
$1 for Junior' Girls' play expenses by
Dec. 3 This is payable at the office
of the dean of women or to Margaret
Kraus, '23.
Members of the Freshman spread
committee will meet at 4 o'clock
this afternoon at the Kappa Alpha
Theta house.
Women who wish to bring guests to
the Freshman spread Saturday night
can, obtain guest tickets at Dean Jor-
dan's office.
The Women's league party will be
given* Friday afternoon owing to the
fact that the gymnasium will 9be used
by the Freshman spread committee.
There swill be a meeting of the Wo-
men's Athletic association board at
7:30 o'clock Thursday night at the
Delta Gamma house.

Rev. W.. P. Remington,. D.D., will
be the speaker at vesper services at 5
o'clock this afternoon at Newberry
hall. A social meeting will be held
from 4:30 to 5 o'clock.
Any entering upperclass women who
have not heard from their senior ad-
visers may confer with the chairman
of the intercollegiate committee from
2 to 4 o'clock ond Wednesday and
Friday afternoons in the Women's
league room at Barbour gymnasium.
Members of Masques costume, prop-
erty and stage committees will meet
Professor Nelson on the stage at Sarah
Caswell Angell hall at 4 o'clock Thurs-
day afternoon to begin work for the
Christmas play. Other members of
Masques who are interested are wel-
come.
DR. ADELINE E. GURD TO
TOUR INDIA, CHINA, JAPAN
Dr. Adeline E. Gurd, professor of
neuro-pathology in the University, left
yesterday on a six months trip through
India, China, and Japan. Dr. Gurd is
accompanied by her daughter, Miss
Patty Gurd, and her sister, Mrs. Jams
H. Kittermaster.
The Varsity football team lost a
post-season game to an eleven com-
posed of alumni in 1897.
