"Considering the conditions under which the drive was carried on, we are well pleased with the results ob- tained," said R. F. Wieneke, '22, busi- ness manager. "We hope that any people who were not given a chance to sign up or who were temporarily out of funds will be given a chance to subscribe at a later date." The salespersons securing the most subscriptions the last day were: Fred- erick E. Gilner, '24, with 60; Thomas G. Kindel, '24, with 59; and Bernard Segall, '24, with 34. Segall secured 132, the largest total for the whole campaign. "There will be more pictures of seniors in the 1922 Michiganensian than there have been in any previous year book," said James Frey, '22, man- aging editor. "More than 1400 pic- tures have been turned in while in last year's issue there were only 1300 pictures. No pictures were accepted after Saturday. The editors have invited all stu- dents to come up to the Michiganen- sian office and look over the year books received from other universities. Quartette For Concert Named Announcement of the personnel of the Varsity quartette, which will ap- pear at the fall concert of the Var- sity Glee and Mandolin clubs Nov. 29 has been made. The quartette this year will be com- posed of Howard C. Walser, '23M, Ro- bert R. Dietrle, '23M, W. L. Kemp, 122M, and B. J. Ferneau, '23. The selection was from the membership of the club after careful consideration of abilities. The first appearance of the Varsity quartette will be made when the four will sing at the fall concert next Tues- day in Hill auditorium. Their pro- gram has not yet been announced but will include carols, balads and Michi- gan songs.
