Beginning this week prac- tices will be held five night a week and more attention will be given to team work and individual playing. So far Mather has done nothing but weed out the impossible dandidates who re- ported to him at the first of the year. The coach has quite a task confronting him as the opening game will be play- ed in less than three weeks. Practice games Arrangements are being made with both Albion and Ypsilanti to bring 15 or 20 men for several practices against the Varsity before the open- ing game. This will give the men a chance to go up against some scrim- mage other than that put forth by their own teammates and will give the coach a chance to see what his men can do in action. These games will probably be played next week, but will not be open to the student body. Three more games have been add- ed to the schedule for this year in- cluding one home game with Western State Normal school on Dec. 10. The other ganies are with Case at Cleve- land and University of Cincinnati in that city on Dec. 16 and 17, respec- tively.
