ARCADE
The havoc wrought by in-laws in
the home is effectively shown in "Her
Face Value" in which Wanda Hawley
is seen on Sunday and Monday. The
star plays the role of an actress whose
relations have always sponged on her
generosity. The genial comedian, T.
Roy Barnes is the leading man.
One of the most unusual outdoor
pictures, "The Girl from God's Count-
ry" with Nell Shipman as star is the
attraction Tuesday and Wednesday.
Brownie, Miss Shipman's bear, and a
pack of malamute dogs do some good
work in the north wood's scenes.
Bebe Daniels, popular comedienne.
has the support of a splendid cast in
"The Speed Girl" which will be fea-
tured the last three days of the week.
The fascinating screen star takes the
part 'of a reckless motorist whose
motto is "speed."
WUERTH
Be-goggled, inimitable Harold Lloyd
and three reels of the best brand of
fun will be offered the first three days
of the week in "Never Weaken." This
is neither a slap-stick comedy nor a
politehone but is a typical Harold
Lloyd comedy. Mildred Davis is
Lloyd's co-partner in fun. Beside the
comedy feature, Sessue Hayakawa will
appear in "When Lights Are Low." To
accomplish true Chinatown atmos-
phere is the aim of the picture and
real Orientals make up the cast.
Madge Kennedy in "Oh, Mary, Be
Careful," an amusing and wholesome
comedy will be screened beginning
Thursday. The plot deals with a col-
lege girl who'likes to flirt.

Simplicity Is f[J
the Keynote
of Our New
Winter Suits '
Simplicity of design is the
dominant style idea carried out
in all our suits this season.
Mrde from all wool fabrics care-i
fully tailored, they cannot conceiv-
ably be finer. Coats drape the figureY
gracefully, falling in a straight line,
without "hugging" the figure, in
typically English fash on. They are
the choice of men who are always
well dressed.

MAJESTIC
"The Child Thou Gavest Me" which
will be shown for three days begin-
ning Sunday is highly dramatic. It
is an appealing and rather pathetic
story dealing with a little boy who
lives in a house divided. The story is
interpreted by a well chosen cast
which includes William Desmond and
Lewis Stone.
The screen adaptation of E. Phil-
lips Oppenheim's "The Great Imper-
sonation" will be shown beginning
Thursday. The plot is concerned with
intrigue and international conspir-
acy. James Kirkwood and Ann For-
rest have the leads.
ORPHEUM
Three Metro pictures are presented
this week. Viola Dana in "Puppets of
Fate" is the star commencing Sun-
day. "Big Game" with May Allison
as leading woman is the feature Wed-
nesday and Thursday. Bert Lytell in
"The Man Who," produced from the
Saturday Evening Post story by that
name is the attraction for Friday and
Saturday.
Looks Like Water
Wagon For Chile
Santiago, Chile, Nov. 19.-President
Alessandri has announced that he in-
tends to ask Congress to pass legis-
lation prohibiting the sale of all in-
toxicants in the industrial centers in
Chile. These include the coal mining
district in the south and the nitrate
fields in the northern provinces.
The president's announcement was
in reply to requests from various
societies asking for a "dry zone" in
the coal mining district where a clash
occurred recently between workers, al-
leged to have been intoxicated, and
government troops. Eight of the work-
ers were killed and 20 were wounded
before order was restored.
JERSEY STUDENTS WANT GAME
WITH EASTERN UNIVERSITY
More than 100 students from New
Jersey, meeting in their annual get-
together smoker last Tuesday night
in the Union unanimously adopted a
resolution requesting the athletic au-
thorities to secure some eastern uni-
versity, for Michigan's football sched-
ule in 1922 and in years following.
It was brought out that when th
Wolverines made their re-entrance in
to the Conference, the promise wa
given out by the athletic authoritie
that the University would not discon
tinue her relations with Eastern uni
versities, but that the promise ha
thus far not been fulfilled.
