'Enter The Hero' Staged At Party Imagination is the central theme of "Enter the Hero," the play presented by Mummers yesterday afternoon at the Women's league party. In this one act tragi-comedy Anne Carey, an imaginative girl who weaves a dream about the hero, Harold Lawson, sends letters and flowers to herself thereby causing her friends to believe that she is engaged to Lawson . Unfortunately for the heroine Lawson is not pleased with the affair since he is engaged to some one else. The resulting situa- tions are tragic for the heroine and amusing to the audience. Florence Derrick,'22, and Madeline McGurk, '24, directed the play while the part of Anne Carey was taken by Dorothy Jeffery, '24, the hero, Harold Lawson, by Cecile Baer, '22, the little sister by Laurella Hollis, '24, and the part of the mother by Rose Tobias, '23. Flowers used in the play were donated byFlanders flower shop. Dancing in the gymnasium followed the play and refreshments were served.
