All departments of the library will be closed on Thanksgiving. One of the books which is attracting much attention in the early map ex- hibit in the lower corridor of the li- brary is the Appianus Cosmography. The original shown was printed in 1524 and is the most valuable item in the exhibit. It is the property of Al- bert Hyma, grad. The following new books have been received in the library and are avail- able for general circulation: "Mountain Interval," by Robert Frost. This book contains a number of poems which Mr. Frost has read since his arrival here. Drinkwater's "Mary Stuart." Drink- water will be remembered as the author of the book "Abraham Lincoln" which was so well received when dram- atized last year. "Uses of Diversity," by Chesterton. Lovers of essays will be pleased with [this book. "The Car that Went Abroad," by A. B. Payne. A book of travel. "No Plays of Japan," by Waley. A collection of Japanese plays.. Twenty-five books dealing with vari- ous phases of the drama have been placed on the display shelves in the second floor corridor. The extension department of the Li- brary, which is now located on the fifth stack floor, will move to the vacant room above the upper study hall in the west stack wing as soon as the work which is being done there is completed.
