Last Week This is the last week of cross coun- try running, and beginning next week Steve will devote his time to looking after the track men. .The formal call for track and field men has not gone forth yet, nor will it until after the Christmas vacation, but Steve has some men who are just preparing to get in trim, s4 that when the call does appear they will have the edge on some of the other fellows. The shot putters and pole vaulters have been putting in quite a lot of work in the pitsjust south of the Waterman gymnasium, ,and some of the sprinters have also been training in the gymnasium, but no real work has been done.kMany of the men who have been working out have been, those who were on the freshman team last year, and who hope to place on the Varsity this spring.
