G RIDIRON GOSSIP COCHRAN TO GIVE BILLIARD EXHIBIT Billiard enthusiasts in Ann Arbor' will welcome the news that Welker Cochran, one of the greatest billiard players in the country, will give an exhibition match on Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Auston Brothers parlors. Cochran is now in Detroit practicing for his match in December, when he will meet Willie Hoppe for the chai' pionship of the world, and will come out to Ann Arbor in time for the football game Saturday afternoon. The match will be held at 7:30 o'clock in the evening, and no admis- sion will be charged.
