Pencils, pens, glasses, and check- books are the articles most -commonly lost and found through the department by both men and women. Men, however, as a separate group, lose most often their bill-folds, over- coats, hats, and caps-unclaimed frosh toques being much in evidence-rand every other variety of college equip- ment from brief-cases to cuff links. This list is well balanced by the women's losses which are headed by great numbers of purses, gloves, and umbrellas, and which end with every- thing from Jewelry to rubbers. Among the articles is also a miscel- laneous collection of unclassified things-three bibles, several bills, coat belts, a parcel of dish towels, fishing tackle, and an eyebrow pencil.
