A final tryout for the Stanley chorus
of women's voices will be held from 2
to 3 o'clock, omifWednesday, Oct. 19, at
the School of Music.
Miss Bertha Buell, head of the his-
tory edpartment at Ypsilanti, will
speak at the vesper services at 5
o'clock this afternoon at Newberry
hall. Tea will be served from 4 to 5
o'clock.
There will be a meeting of the Y.
W. C. A. cabinet at 3:30 o'clockthis
afternoon at Newberry hall. The
members are requested to be prompt.
There will be a meeting of the board
of governors of Adelia Cheever house
at 10:30 o'clocksThursday morning at
the Cheever house.
The second round of - the " tennis
tournament must be played off by
Thursday evening and scores posted on
the bulletin board in, Barbour gym-
nasium. Courts are free,-all day Wed-
nesdays and Saturdays, from 8 to 10
and 5 to 6 o'clock every, day; and from
4 to 6 o'clock on Mondays and Fridays.
The regular meeting of the Girls'
Educational club, which was to be held
at Martha Cook building on Wednesday
night, Oct. 19, has been postponed un-
til Wednesday, Oct. 26.
