To Members of the Senior Clas:
By ruling of the Board of Regents, members of the senior class who are
candidates for degrees may be excused from attendance at Commencement
exercises at the discretion of -the President of the University. All such per-
sons, who are compelled by sufficient reasons to be absent, are directed to
present their request in writing to the Secretary or Registrar of their col-
leges or schools before the evening of Saturday, June 10.

Notice of Change of Regulations for Academic Dress at Commencement:
Fdculty members will please note that at their meeting, May 26, the
Regents voted that beginning with the present academic year the University
would no longer furnish gratis to faculty members the academic gown for
the Commencement Exercises. Faculty members participating in the Com-
mencement Exercises will therefore be under the necessity of purchasing
or renting such academic costume as is required, supplying themselves from
such local agency or otherwise as they may desire.

required to submit their accounts to' me for audit before June 10, under
penalty of forfeiting their semester's credits if the duty be neglected.
