Prediction that 10,000 Michigan root-
ers will witness the football game be-
tween Ohio State and Michigan at Col-
umbus, Oct. 21, is made by Coach
Fielding H. Yost, director of intercol-
legiate athletics. The game will mark'
the dedication of the new Ohio State
stadium, one of the finest in the West.'
In support of Coach Yost's belief as
to the crowd fromn Michigan that will
invade Ohio for this, all-important
Conference clash, the Michigan Athlet-
ic association has agreed to purchase
10,000 tickets for the battle. -
Negotiations Pending with Railroads
Negotiations are pending with the
railroads between Ann Arbor and Col-
umbus to care for the crowd. Num-
bers of special trains will be run be-
tween the two cities. Others will go.

Blue.
The Athletic association is asking
the railroads to grant a rate of $5 a
person for round trip tickets. The re-
sults in this direction so far are
highly encouraging to Coach Yost and
his staff.
Big Game of the Day
The Michigan-Ohio game will be the
most important gridiron engagement
on that date and one of the most im-
portant, from the standpoint of nation-
wide interest, to be played next fall.
Each team will be definitely pointed
for a victory.
Intramural Items
In the Interclass baseball league
the Medics will play the Dents at 4
o'clock today in the championship
game, while the Freshman Laws and
the Junior Lits will meet at the same
time in the consolation. The two los-
ers in these games wil play next week
for second place in the league.
At 4 ' o'clock today on Ferry field
there will be two games in the Facul-
ty league. Economics, who are lead-
ing at present, will play the Physics
department and Education will play
the Rhetoric department.
Taumen will play Depg in the semi-
final game in the Independent league
at 4 o'clock today and the winner
will play Peterson for the champion-
ship at 1,:30 on Saturday.
In the Fraternity league Phi Chi
wil. play Sigma Phi Epsilon at 1:30
o'clock on Saturday in the semi-final
game and the winner will play Acacia
next week in the final game.
At the present time Alpha Kappa
Kappa are leading in the Fresh Medic
league, having won 'four games and
with only one game to play.

Fo'ur speakers for "Michigan Night"
of the "Go to College" campaign which
-is being sponsored by the Detroit pub-
lic schools, have been named by Presi-
dent Burton.
Dean John R. Effinger of the liter-
ary college, Prof. T. E. Rankin of the
rhetoric department, Dean E. H.
'Kraus, of the College of Pharmacy,
and Coach Fielding H. Yost, will ad-
dress the four different audiences in
Detroit on the-- evening of May 29,
which has been' set aside as ,a night
for "boosting" the interest in the Un-
iversity of prospective 'college stu-
dents.
