FRESHMAN MENTORS
W I L L REORGANIZE
Upperclass Advisors for next year-
will be organized and a complete' plan1
of procedure mapped out before the
end of the present college year, ac-
cording to the plan of the commit-
tee now in charge of the work.
A new system of acquiring . the
names and addresses of freshmen willf
be used next fall. The old system
has proved unsatisfactory in the past
and a, possible remedy has been Tug-
gested by getting the names of the first.
year men as soon as they have regis-
tered with the treasurer of the Uni-
versity.
The committee will function other-
wise as in the past, in visiting the{
freshmen and offering them advice in
regard to academic work, and campus
activities.

ROOMS NOW AVAILABLE FOR
GUESTS AT MAY FESTIVAL
Rooms for Maf Festival visitors to
Ann Arbor are now available at a
booth in the lobby of the Union, which
was o pened yesterday afternoon.
Over 75 applications forroomers now
remain unfilled and a large number of
single rooms, and suites near the cam-
pus are still for rent. All of the
rooms in the Michigan Union have
been reserved for over a week.
Commencement Bids Out Next Week
Commencement invitations for the
senior literary class will be distrib-
uted on Thursday or Friday of next
week from a booth in the lower cor-
ridor of University hall. Only a few
extra copies will be available for sale,
and those wishing them should call as
soon as the booth opens.
