DEAN COOLEY RETURNS FROM SPEAKING TRIP THROUGH EAST Dean Mortimer E. Cooley of the col-' leges of engineering and architecture, will return Monday from a ten-day trip through New York and Pennsyl- vania, where he has been engaged in addresing groups of engineers in be- half of the Federated American En- gineering societies, of which organiza- tion he is president. TENNIS COURT USERS MUST SECURE, PERMITS Ferry field tennis courts will be run on a permit system as soon as this system can be put into practice, in order that as many students as pos- sible may have the use of the courts, and that the distribution of the privi- lege may be equitable The follow- ing system has been passed upon by the Athletic Association upon the ad- vice of the following men who are actively interested in tennis: Dr. A. 0. Lee, Professor A. E. Boak, Dr. A. Ohlmacher, George Reindel, Jr., Charles Merkel, Walter Wesbrook, Frederick Worcester, Coach Yost, and Harry Tillotson. Playing permits will be issued for the use of each court. Holders of a permit will have the use of the par- ticular court they are allotted for one hour. The Athletic association will keep a man' on the field who shall have charge of thedistribution ofsthe permits. Permits are issued fifteen minutes before each hour for the hour immediately following. No reserva- tions may be made several hours or days in advance. The man in charge Will be on duty every school day in the afternoon from 1:45 o'clock on and on Saturday's from 8:45 o'clock in the morning during the entire day. Players receiving permits will be re- quired to leave the names of all men who will use the court. /One permit only to each court will be issued. This will not necessitate a long waiting line..
