certainly must make her acquain-
tance! Everyone will be interested
in. her for she is nobody else than the
official mascot of the University of
Michigan league.
* Besides this she's a tiny Persian kit-
ten which was presented to Frances
Ames, '23, by the Michigan Boosters'
club, to be kept in her custody dur-
ing her term as president , of the
league. So "Maisie" will be comfort-
ably established at. the Delta Delta
Delta house for this next year, and
will be passed on to the next league
president the following year.
In the meantime her friends
think that she will be instrumental in
procuring many dollars for the Mich-
igan league campaign fund.

Members of the board of governors
of Betsy Barbour house, Miss Eleanor
Sheldon, social director of the dorm-
itory, the residents of the house and
the Barbour scholarship students will
join in giving a formal dinner the
evening of May 22 in honor of Dean
Myra B. Jordan.
The party is being given in recog-
nition of Mrs. Jordan's services to
the Barbour students and to the girls
of the dormitory. The event will take
place at the dormitory.
Faculty Women's' Club Plans Hike
Plans for a hike which will be in
the nature of a bird study walk have
been made by the athletic section of
the Faculty Women's club, to start
from the home of Mrs. R. H. Curtiss,
910 East Huron street, at 2 o'clock
tomorrow afternoon.
Mrs. Willis Shippam will lead the
hike, which will be taken through the
School Girl's glen and Boulevard sec-
tion. Bird study will be conducted by
Miss Edna Perry, of the Ann Arbor
high school.

The annual May breakfast of the
University Y. W. C. A. will be given at
9 o'clock Saturday morning, May 20,
in Barbour gymnasium. A decorative
scheme of spring flowers will be car-
ried out. The entertainment willbe a
musical program.,
