In tle forepage of the Chinese pro- gram appeared the following dedica- tion: "Masques desires, on this occasion, to dedicate their sixth annual play to her who, more than any other one person, has made possible the suc- cess of the organization. Dean Jor- dan has been Masques' best friend and advocate. Her sympathy and interest, her advi'e and counsel, haye been so' vital in all our activities that we can- not express our appreciation of her friendship adequately. For this once, Dean Jordan, Masques is playing es- pecially for you and the interest to which you have given so much of your life." SOPHOMORE GIRUS TO GIVE MOVIE FOR MICHIGAN LEAGUE SORORITY MAKES PLANS FOR NUDE LAN FETE. An appeal in which the interest will be divided between dancing and a "get together 'for students and townspeople is made by the lawn fete to be given by Collegiate Sorosis on Saturday for the benefit of the League campaign fund. Elaborate plans for decorative effect are already under way for making the affair one of the most attractive of its kind, to be given by a University or- ganization this year. Japanese lan- terns will be used to transform the lawns in front of 'the house into a varied scene of color, and tables will 'be placed there where old-fashioned strawberry short-cake and strawberry sundaes will be served. Fortune-tell- ing will be another of the evening's attractions. One of the best campus orchestras will furnish the music for dancing in} the house throughout the entire even-t ing. No charge of admission will be made for entrance to the lawn fete itself, but a nominal fee will be col- lected for each dance. Those in charge of the affair think that this feature will make it, more attractive to those whose other engagements will make it impossible for them to spend the entire evening' dancing. The fete is not planned merely as a novel campus dance designed for std- dents alone, but as an occasion which the older students will be able to en- joy. The tables on the lawn will afford an attractive meeting-place for townspeople, and it is thought that many will take advantage of the op- portunity so offered. The affair is scheduled to begin at 8 o'clock and will co~inue until 11:30. There will be dancing all evening. ALP$A XI DELTA SORORITY ' VOTES TO SACRIFICE DANCE Girls of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority have voted to give up their spring 'dance and to, give the money which will amount to $50' to the Michigan League campaign fund. This will bring the total amount raised through the sacrifice dances to $755. ADRIAN-ANN ARBOR BUS SCHEDULE EFFEC'r TV, ,OCT To 1923 Read Down Central Standard Tie A M, P.M P.M.
