On the other hand, Alex Lindsay, one of the best second string men on the squad was at the same time declared -eligble. He will be a. strong addition to the line. Full- back Locke is improving but is still unable to scrimmage. At the present time Coach Jones is concentrating on an aerial attack, this being the Hawk- eyes one weak point. Wisconsin Coach Richardschas announced that the Badgers will continue secret prac- tice for the rest of the week. All the time at the present, is being spent in pointing tfie team for the Illinois game a week from Saturday, as the North- western clash this week is not con- sidered dangerous. Illinois Coach Zuppke faces a big task next Saturday when his crippled team will meet the redoubtable Hawkeyes. At the present time, Sabo, Crangle, Peden, and Mullen are on the sidelines as the result of injuries, and it is problemat- ical whether any of them will see ac- tion in the game with the Iowans. Kovasey, Latta, and Dawson are tak- ing the places of the regulars, but are not the equal of the regular trio. Al Mohr for the second time this week took part in a punting drill and also worked out athalfback. Ohio State That Ohio State is going to rely on a forward passing attack in the fu- ture, seems to be indicated by Tues- day's practice. Coach Wilce kept his squad out after darkness and with the aid of the arc-lights continued to run them through signals. Forward pass after forward pass was thrown. Noel Workman, Stuart, and Myers being used on the hurling end. The team snapped into play and moved as one man. Some of this coordination was lost however in scrimmage with the freshmen, which indicates that several more days of practice1willb e needed before the team moves with the prop- er precision while in action. The games are scheduled to start promptly at 4 o'clock and will continue to start at this hour until Nov. 1 when the change in time will necessitate earlier contests. Soccer Schedule The schedule for this afternoon brings Trigon against Zeta Beta Tau, Sigma Phi Epsilon in opposition to Phi Gamma Delta, and Psi Upsilon on the field with Delta Sigma Delta. From what little dope is obtainable from last year's records the six teams seem evenly-matched and hot contests are expected to result. An innovation in fraternity athletics will appear early in November with the interhouse cross country run. Al- though the route has not been defin- itely decided upon it is expected that it will be either over the regular Var- sity course or from Ypsilanti to Ann Arbor. The latter route covers ap- proximately nine miles while the former is shorter. The fraternity marathon, as it is to be known, is ex- pected to be a big hit with the repre- sentative houses, as wel as to bring out some good Varsity track material. Schedule for Next Week Further drawings in the soccer tournament have made it possible to announce the following schedule for next week, which will be adhered to as nearly as weather conditions will per- mit: Monday, Delta Tau Delta vs. Phi Chi, Delta Chi vs. Delta Kappa Epsi- lon, Zeta Psi vs. Delta Upsilon; Tues- (Continued on- Page Five) N STUDENTS their expenses this year profitable job next sum- 7:30-8:15 P.
