This; is the second session of the summer school in which courses of the kind have been taught. During the summer session of last year the courses were taught by a non-resident professor. .The eurse in school hygiene will entail a study of the fundamental principles underlying the subjects of health promotion and disease preven- tion . Special attention. will be given the personal hygiene of the teacher and pupil, the relation of hygiene to the everyday life of the school and the prevention of epidemics. The re- quired work of the course will include lectures, inspection trips, round table discussions and written reports. The course on the administration of physical education will cover the problems confronting both the teacher and the school executive in the proper administration of the work as re- quired by the state law.
