tennis tournament or for their houses
in the basiball league, must do so by

MOTI FOR CHILDRENI
Florence B. Paddock, '17, a vocalist
from Detroit,' will offer additional
features at the benefit movie, "'A Girl
Named MVary," starring Marguerite
Clark, which will be given under the'
auspices of Helen Newberry residence
at 10:30 o'clock tomorrow morning at
the Majestic theater.
The proceeds of the. performance
will be tuirned over to the Michigan
league campaign fund. Miss Paddockt
who spends a great part~ of her time
studying and singin~g children's songs,
will sing several especially arranged
numbers at this time..
Tickets for the performance may be
secured from any of the girls of Helen
Newberry residence or purchased at
the door. Children's tickets will be
sold for 20 cents. Adults are also in-
vited to accompany the children. Any-
one wishing children to be called for
and taken to the performance may
call 2338, and one of the Ne3wberry'
girls will serve them in this way.
FACULTY WOMEN
TO HIKE SATURDAY
Members of the athletic section of
the Faculty Women's club have ar-
ranged to go for a hike at 1 o'clock
tomorrow afternoon. The hikers will
meet at the Engineering arch and will
walk out to the Forestry farm 'where
Prof. L. J. Young, of the forestry de-
partment, has given them the privi-
leges of using the log cabin and of,
making a campfire. Tea will be serv-
ed and a talk given beside the camp-
fire.
The swimming tank in Barbour
gymnasium can be used between 3 and
4 o'clock next Thursday for the first
time by members of the athletic sec-
tion who wish to swim or to learn to
swim. Those wishing to use; the tank
are asked to call Mrs. J. E. Enswiler,
chairman of the swimming committee
of Mrs. F. R. Finch, vice-chairman of
the committee. A locket fee' of $1
must also be paid to R. A. Campbell,
treasurer of the University,' for the
privilege of using the tank.
Freshzn,an Glee Club Dance Postponed
The matinee dance which was to
be given by the Freshman Girls' Glee
club has been postponed indefintely
on account of the conflict with the Il-
linois baseball game.' Anyone having
tickets may have their money refund-
ed by returning them.
