A. Hildner, faculty adviser to foreign students. At present there are 331 students from foreign lands ma- triculating in the various schools on the campus. This number puts Michi gunl well up with the leading cosmo- politan colleges of the country in at- tendance of foreign students. AdviSor Appointed The University has appointed an ad- viser to foreign students whose busi- ness it is to appoint a director of for- eign, students in the University at the beginning of the year, to conduct a bu- reau of information for foreign stu- dents throughout the year, and to look out for their general welfare. The Cosniopolita.n club is a help in putting the foreign students in touch with the life of the University. Its list of activities include such things as: Lectures on international subjects by professors and prominent outside speakers, annual entertainments given by the club, and a spring trip to near- by cities. Past Philippine Secretary Comes For Visit Here Dean C. Worcester, '89 former sec- rotary of the interior of the Philip- pine islands and author of numerous books dealing with various phases of the conditions in the' islands is in Ann Arbor visiting friends. Mr. Worcester after graduating from the University became a member of the faculty, serving as professor in the zoology department and curator of the zoology museum. At the present time he is residing in the Philippine islands. While in Ann Arbor Mr. Worcester and Mrs. Worcester are visiting their son, Frederick L. Worcester, '22. They have recently been in New York city on a busines trip and plan to sail from Seattle April 29.
