er draw, despite the fact that Jenkins
had wrestled a few minutes earlier in
the evening. Bernbaum relied almost
entirely upon a left hook and his foot
work, while Jenkins used a straight
left followed by a straight right.
Yott had a small shade over Schroeder
in the bout at 150 pounds. Schroeder
put up a clever exhibition, considering
the fact that he was substituted in the
last minute. Both men were fairly
even until the last round, when Yott's
superior condition began to tell. Yott,
took the last round by a wide margin,
thereby winning the bout. .

Wolinitz met Housel at 155 pound,
and both men put up the cleverest ex-
hibition of the evening, with Wolinitz
having a slight advantage. Both men
started the bout using straight lefts,
and clever foot work. In the second
round Wolinitz danced around, jab-
bing his left hand rapidly and crossing
his, right to 'Housel's head. Housel
used a double left' hook to the body
and head. Honors were about even
until the third round which found Wo-
linitz going good and ,Housel 'begin-
ning to tire. Wolinitz jabbed, hook-
ed, and crossed, while House did his
best, keeping him off with a straight
left and a hook to the body. Wolinitz
was, given the decision.
