Organized houses are rapidly sign-
ing up on the official calendar for
their house stunts which are being
given in response to the request made
by the campaign committee for the
Michigan League that each organized
house give some entertainment, or
conduct some special sale for the
benefit of the building fund.
Tickets on Sale
Tickets for the Varsity Glee club
concert are being sold by the Alpha
Omicron Pi house and 10 cents will
be realized' on every ticket sold be-
fore the concert. These tickets are
on sale in the booth in University
hall and also at the various houses.
Chi Omega sorority is conducting a
sale of wearing apparel today and to-
morrow at Newberry hall as their
contribution tt this program. The
frocks, wraps; suits, and sports ap-
parel that will be on sale all come
from the Hewitt dress shop, Detroit:
There will be no duplication of mod-
els, and a substantial profit will be
realized on every sale.
Ask for Reports
All houses that have not yet signed
up should decide at once the sort of
entertainment or stunt that is to be
givenr and consult the chairman of
the committee, Neva Lovewell, '22, be-
fore making any definite arrange-
ments so that there will be no con-
flict of dates. All houses have been
requested to make an attempt to give
this affair as soon as possible so that
all funds may be turned over to the
treasurer for use in financing the
building campaign.
BURTON AND DEAN WHITE
TO SPEAK AT LUNCHEON
Plans are being completed for the
Women's annual luncheon which is to
be held at 12:30 o'clock Saturday in
Barbour gymnasium. Profits from
the luncheon will be applied to the
building fund of the University of
Michigan League.
President Marion L. Burton and
Dean Georgia White of Cornell Uni-
versity, a guest for the occasion, will
be the principal speakers. President
Burton will give an address on the
University of Michigan League. The
program will be completed with a
talk by Edna Groff, '22, president of
the Women's league. Amy Loomis,
'22, will act as toastmistress for the
affair.
A group of members of the Ameri-
can Association of University Women
have charge of serving the luncheon.
All arrangements have been made
under the direction of Norma Judson,
'22
All women of the University and
alumnae are: invited to attend. Stu-
dent tickets are 75 cents and alumna
tickets $1.
ORGANIZED HOUSES IMEET
TO PLAN FOR RU IMAGE SALE
The rummage sale to be given for
the benefit of the Michigan League
will take place on April 28 and 29 at
the city Y. M. C. A. opposite the
court house. Representatives from
the various organized houses on the
campus met yesterday to discuss
plans"fo the collection of articles.
Women are requested by the com-
mittee in charge of the sale to be
thinking about what they will con-
tribute in order that the collections
may be. made more quickly. Pamela
Brown,'22, chairman, asks that any
house which wyas not represented at
the meeting call her for particulars.
NEVA LOVEWELL ACCEPTS
CAMPAIGN CHAIRMANSHIP
Neva Lovewell, '22, has accepted the
position as chairman of the League
campaign committee for next year.

The board of directors of the Wmien's
league has decided that it will be ad-
visable to have as chairman someone
who is familiar with tha work .andc
with the women on c"mpus, as well
as one who can devote her entire time
to the work during the coming year
when there will be added dutis due
to the development of the plans.

Three public speaking events have
been decided upon by the University
Oratorical boardi. They are: a< tri-

take place on Tuesday, May 2, an
extemporane's speaking contest and

spring vacation.
No positivo action was taken re-
garding the last of the numbers on'
the Oratorical lecture course. The
date is still being held open in case
Irvin S. Cobb can fill his engage-
ment.
League Gais $40
On Frost-l ites
From the sale of Frost-bites at the
p rformance of "Scepters and Seren-
ades" more than $40 was realized for
the campaign fund. Approximately
150 dozen Frost-bites were sold be-
tween the acts of the play. Margaret
Whyle, '23, and Katherine Kuhlman,
'2. had charge ofthe arrangements
of the sale while the ushers -did the
actual selling.
Frost-bites have been sold several
times at the candy booth in Univer-
sity hall but owing to the weather
the sale was not great enough to war-
raIt keeping them in stock. As soon
as the weather is more favorable they
will be again placed on sale.
