Faculty Concerts:
Under the auspices of the Lniversity School of Iusic members of the
School Faculty will give a series of complimentary recitals in Hill Audi-
torium on Sunday afternoons at 4:15 o'clock as follows:
October 16 and 30.
November 13.
December 4.
January 15 and 29.
February 26.
March 5 and 19.
April 2.

Unirersily Oratorical Board:
There will be a meeting of the Oratorical Board Monday, Oct. 10, at
5 o'clock in room 302 M. H1. O. W. RUSH, President.
"gasques:
Tryouts for meml)ership in Masques will be held in Sarah Caswell An-
gell hall from 3 to 5 p. m. Monday, Oct. 10, for Freshmen, Tuesday and
Wednesday, Oct. 11 and 12, for upperclassmen. All candidates are re-
quested to come prepared either to recite or to read some selection of their

Senate Council:
The regular meeting of the Senate Council will be held in the Presi-
dent's office Monday, Oct. 10, at 4:15 p. m.

University Library:
The Main Reading room and the Periodical room, only, are open on
Sunday. Hours, 2 to 9 p. m. Books desired for Sunday use, which are or-
dinarily shelved in other parts of the building, will be put on reserve in
the Reading room on Saturday evening upon a personal request presented
at the desk where such books are usually drawn.

Hygiene Lectures:
Freshman and entering sophomore women are required to attend a
series of six hygiene lectures to be given in Barbour gymnasium on Tues-
days at 4 o'clock. Students are requested to be prepared with blue books
for taking notes. The dates of the lectures are as follows: Oct. 11, 18,
25, Nov. 1, 8, and 15. MARION 0. WOOD.
iwem oeopathic Medeal School:
There will be a meeting of the Staff Club, Monday noon, Oct. 10, lower
letcure room, Hospital-stereopticon illustrations. Dean Edward H. Kraus
will speak upon "The Synthetic Production of Precious Stones." All mem-
bers will be present promptly, dinner following.

First meeting Thursday, Oct. 13, 8 p. m., in Sarah C. Angell hall. "Three
Pills in a'Bottle/' with special music, to be presented. Important business

American Legion:
There will be an important meeting of American Legion members and
all ex-service men at 7:30 o'clock Wednesday evening in the second floor
reading room of the Union. Everyone on the campus who saw service in
either the army, navy or marine corps is urgently requested to be. present.

Junior Engineers:
All Junior Engineers are requested to meet in room 348 of the Engi-
neering building on Tuesday morning, Oct. 11, at 9'o'clock, for the purpose
of nominating class officers for the ensuing year. This proceeding will be
in charge of a representative of the Student Council, duly appointed for the
purpose.
A full attendance is very desirable.

Men's Educational Club:
The first meeting for this year of the Men's Educational Club will be
held in room 325, Michigan Union, from 7 to 8 o'clock, Tuesday evening,
Oct. 11. All men who are preparing for educational positions should at-
