THE MICHIGAN DAILY } WlUkNEhSDAY, MARCH 23 STUDENT ADVISORY C03ITTEE WINS APPROVAL OF BURSLEY (Continued from Page One) part in the regulation of student life. Officials of the committee consider that the Student council has directed its attention to the supervision of such matters as class games, elections, and kindred activities and has not been able to do anything with the prob- lems of general regulation of the stu- dent body. This condition, they main- tain, has been brought about by the unwieldly size of the council, which has a membership of about 25' New Syste Better The committee feels that the new system provides a better machinery for the consideration of such ques- tions, inasmuch as it has been elect- ed by the entire campus and not on a class representation system, and it is small enough to permit real executive work to be accomplished. According to the present plan, mem- bers of the committee will not enter into other campus activities to any great extent, that there may be no neglect of its duties due to other in-' terests., Dean Bursley will receive the com- munication from the committee in time to bring it up for discussion at the meeting of the committee on stu- dent affairs this afternoon. Club Ghes Program at Meet Tonight Presenting a program of readings, the Players club will meet at 7:15 o'clock this evening in Sarah Caswell Angell hall.
