Is Address Title
Abbe Ernest Dimnet, graduate and
professor of the University of Lille,
and formerly professor of English at
the College of Stanislas, will give an
address on "The Coming Men in
French Politics" at 4:15 o'clock to-
day in Natural Science auditorium.
He is well known in America through
his contributions to magazines, par-
ticularly the Atlantic Monthly, and his
course of Lowell lectures during 1919
and 1920.
He "will describe the trend of mod-
ern French political thought and the
leaders who personify them. The lec-
ture is under the auspices of the Uni-
versity and is one of a series given by
Abbe Dimnet during the course of a
four months' tour of the United States.
HOUSE SOLD FOR
JUNIOR GIRLS' PLAY
With but one day of the ticket sale
past, practically the whole house for
the Friday night performance of the
Junior Girls' play is sold out. The
Saturday matinee proved next in pop-
ularity with very few seats left, but
there is still a limited number of good
seats for Saturday night.
Vivid and distinctive posters placed
about the campus hinting at scenes
and costumes from the play have at-1
tracted attention as being more indi-
vidual than the ordinary printed -card
advertisement. These posters were de-
signed, painted, and printed by girls
of the junior class.
The committee expressed itself as
being well pleased with the results of
the sale so far. Several out-of-town
Orders are expected, which with the
remainder of the campus sale, it is
stated, will undoubtedly run the total
above all expectation.
