THIE MICHIGAN DAILY CHA1MBR MUSIC SOCIETY TO PLY MONDAY NIGHT The last number in the Extra Con- cert Series will take place Monday ev- ening, Feb. 28, in Mill auditorium, when the New York Chamber Music society, founded by Caroline Beebe, .. will, make its second Ann Arbor ap- pearance. { The 11 musicians who represent the several choirs in the organization are all virtuosi of wide reputation. It has b~een said that their continual asso- ciation and rigidity of rehearsal have brought about a perfection of ense- ble seldom encountered. The variety of instruments represented have pro- vided opportunity for a type of music which is infrequently heard. This (rganization is acknowledged G 1by critics as a standard by which oth- er ensemble combinations may be measured. It is greatly indebted for its position to Miss Beebe, who for years has devoted her entire musical attention to its development' TECHIC= SENDS TWO MEN TO _ ENGINEER~ MAGAZINES MEETING The Michigan Technic will send two representatives to the conference of engineering college magazines to be hetomorrow in Chicago., This conference aims to promote co-I operation and standardization among the 'technical magazines of the lead- ing engineering schools of thcou- try, for the purpose of advancing their advertising possibilities with the large industries.
