the appointment of Prof. J. A. Burs-
ley as dean of students were the two
outstanding results of the regular
monthly meeting of the Board of Re-
gents Feb. 11. Gov. Alex Groesbeckj
was in Ann Arbor for a conference
with the Regents at this time.
No appointment was made to the po -
sition of director of physical educa-

next October, the athletic tax which
is a part of the annual tuition shall
not entitle the student to admission
to indoor athletic events. This action
was made necessary by the fact that

Alumni association for soliciting
funds for the proposed women's
