Dean Myra B. Jordan has been ask-
ed to give a talk to Detroit Junior
college girls Friday afternoon at the
College club in that city.
The house presidents' organization
will hold its January meeting at 4:30
o'clock Thursday afternoon in Barbour
gymnasium.
The playground class will meet at
4 o'clock this afternoon in Barbour
gymnasium.
The Girls' Educational club will
meet.at 8 o'clock tonight at the Alpha
Chi Omega house.
A heart and lung examination is re-
quired for all upperclassmen taking
elective work in gymnasium.
All girls who do social service work
afe requested to report at Newberry
hall at their regular hours instead of
at the University hospital.
There will be a short meeting of all
freshman and sophomore squadncap-
tains at 4 o'clock this afternoon.

LEAGUE FANCY DRESS PARTY
NOT OPEN TO SPECTATORS
To avoid overcrowding Barbour
gymnasium at the fancy dress party
at 8 o'clock Saturday evening, the so-
cial committee of the Women's league
announces that spectators will not be
admitted except by written invitation
from the league or by special cards.
These cards may be obtained for vis-
itors upon request at the office of Dean
Myra B. Jordan.
Everyone is to enter unmasked, by
the lower door of the gymnasium
building. Guests may be brought, if
they are -In-costume, without cards of
invitation. There will be a social tax
of 10 cents upon everyone, and an ad-
ditional 25 cent tax \will be collected
from all who are not in costume.
Indian Woman Student Expected Here
Miss DasGupta, who is coming to
the University from India to do grad-
uate work under one of the Barbour
scholarships, sailed from Liverpool,
Jan. 5. She was-scheduled to arrive
in New York Jan. 16, and is expected
in Ann Arbor soon Miss DasGupta
was met in New York by an associa-
tion of Indian people. She is to live
at Martha Cook building.
