PNEUMONIA VICTIM

pharmacist in the state, died here
early yesterday after a short attack
of pneumonia. Mr. Eberbach was
born in Ann Arbor, Nov. 23, 1845, and
after four years of study in German'I
universities joined his father in theI
drug business of Eberbach & Son. On
Nov. 3, 1870, he married Katherine

a member of the American Pharma-

Several of his articles have appeared

In 1888 he was influential in the

since that time. He was a charter
member of the Michigan State Pharm- =

in 1900. For 20 years he was a mem-
ber of the local school board; Eber-
bach school was named in his honor.
Active in medical work in the state,
he was local treasurer of the Anti-
tuberculosis association, and for nine
years a member of the state board of
pharmaceutical examiners.
Mr. Eberbach is survived by his wife
and five children. The funeral date
has not yet been arranged.
