Carol services will be held at the First Methodist, and the First Baptist churches at 4:30, and at the Presby- terian and St. Andrew's Episcopal at 4 this afternoon. At the Congrega- tional and St. Andrew's the Christmas story will be interpreted by pageant- services. Rev. Leonard A. Barret will speak on "The Christmas We Need Today" at the Presbyterian morning serv- ices. "Above Every Name" is the morning subject by Rev. J. M. Wells at the First Baptist church, and at the First Methodist church Dr. Arthur Stalker will take as his theme: "The ' Christ [That Is to Be." At St. Andrew's Episcopal church the preacher at the morning serv- ices will be the Rev. Simpson Auhyah- kaosa Brigham, Ojibwa Indian mis- sionary at Walpole Island, Ontario. Rev. Sidney S. Robins will preach on "Prophecy and Preparation" at the Unitarian church at 10:40 this morning. At the Congregational church Rev. Lloyd C. ,Douglas will speak on the subject: "The Capitali- zation of Losses; the Process of Con- verting Liabilities Into Assets." "Isiah the Gospel Prophet" will be the topic of Rev. F. P. Arthur's ser- mon at the Church of" Christ (Disci- ples), while the members of the Church of Christ, Scientist, will hear a sermon on the question, "Is the Universe, Including Man, Evolved by Atomic Force?" Rev. Lloyd Merl Wallick, of the Trinity Lutheran church, will preach on "The Word Makes Flesh," the third of a series of sermons dealing with the birth of Christ. Rev. E. C.
