To All the Students: An All-University Student Convocation will be held in Hill auditorium on Friday, Dec. 17, at 4:30 p. m. Owing to the limited seating capacity the members of the Faculty and staff are asked not to attend this convocation. As President of the University, I desire to present to the students certain matters of vital importance to the entire institution. Lloyd, Dean of the Graduate School, will speak on the sub- ject: "University Policy in Relation to Research." There will be a short business meeting, at which the Council wishes to bring before the Society the question of the establishment of Sigma Xi Na- tional Fellowships and the question of Associate Membership. Delegates to the Chicago Convention will be elected. All who have ever been elected to Sigma Xi, at any institution whether now affiliated with the Michigan Chapter or not, are urged to be present.
