THE MICHIGAN DAILY LY IN STATES Students Advised to Obtain Tickets to Home Destinations at, Once In order to insure getting trans- portation out of Ann Arbor on the Tuesday preceding the holidays stu- dents are urged to secure their rail- road tickets and pullman reservations at once, The Interstate Commerce commis- sion ruling raises the fee in certain states, so that frequently a student may get a better rate home if he lives outside of Michigan. The rate in Ohio is lower than it is in Michigan, while in some of the other surroundng states it is higher. Extra sleepers will be put on for the accommodation of students from Ann Arbor to all important points. ROBBERIES FROM UNIVERSITY BUILDINGS CONTINUE DAILY Chief-of-Police O'Brien announced yesterday that nearly a coat a day is stolen from University buildings. Most of these are taken from the halls and never recovered. It is the opin- ion at the deartment that most of these robberies would be avoided if the owner would use some care. Fraternities have also been continu- ally robbed this year. Last week Al- pha Delta Phi was robbed of two over- coats, a raincoat and a brass ash re- ceiver.
