CONGREGATIONAL STUDENT
ASSOCIATION
On Friday evening, October eighth, there will be parties (by
colleges) for students new and old.
All"its" will be entertained by Professor and Mrs. Louis C.
Karpinski at 1315 Cambridge Road, (corner of Forest).
All "laws" will be entertained at the home of Professor and
Mrs. Edwin C. Goddard, 1212 Hill Street.
The engineers of every sort and kind will be the guests of
Professor Henry E. Riggs at the Michigan Union.
Students of Music will be entertained by Dean Byrl F. Bacher,
1227 Vollanid Street, (off Washtenaw).

There has been some confusion as
to the numbers of phones at Betsy
Barbour house. The general call for
residents is 2676, for the director, Miss
Sheldon, 2339, and for the business
manager, Miss Royer, 2178.
The first two of these numbers were
formerly lines serving the second and
third floors of Helen Newberry resid-
ence.
An important meeung of the board'
of directors of the Women's League
will be held at 9:30 o'clock Saturday
morning, Oct. 9, in the board room in
Barbour gymnasium. Members of the
board are urged to be present.
Freshmen taking gymnasium work
are asked to present their locker tick-
ets to Mrs. Blackburn before Wednes-
day, Oct. 13. Tickets may be bought
at the secretary's office in University
hall for $1, the regular gymnasium fee.
Sophomores should leave the sched-
ules of their gymnastic hours in the
physical director's office in Barbour!

PARTY WHO picked up pocketbook
in Medical building Tuesday morn-

If the plans of the committee are
carried ovt successfully, the Junior
advisers' s. -per, to be given Monday
evening Oct. 11, will no1 only afford
the freshman women a real get-to-
gether good time, but it will also give
them some idea of Michigan spirit.
During the supper which is to be 1
of the buffet variety, the Glee club
is to have charge of the singing, and
everybody will have a chance to hear
and sing Michigan's traditional songs.
The presidents of all the women's
organizations on the campus will be
present, and each will explain and
describe the activity she represents.
Following the supper a program
will be presented, the exact nature of
which has not been announced. The
entertainment for the evening is in
the hands of a committee of juniors,
with Amy Loomis, '22, acting as chair-
man.
