sophomores will be held at 10 o'clock'
Saturday morning; for juniors and

tax of $1 before Wednesday, Nov. 10,
at Dean Myra B. Jordan's office.
The Women's Athletic association
will hold its second hike starting at 2
o'clock Saturday afternoon from Bar-
bour gymnasium. Ten miles is the dist-
ance for Saturday's jaunt.
Final Y. W. C. A. membership re-
ports must be recorded by 5 o'clock
Friday afternoon in Newberry hall.
All girls who intend going to Co-
lumbus on the special train Satur-
day must get their railway tickets at
once from Dean Myra B. Jordan's of-
fice. A limited supply of seat tickets
for the game may be obtained at the
Athletic office.

MASQUES TO PRESENT
BANDBOXTHEATER PLAY
"NEVERTHELESS" FEATURE OF
FIRST WOMEN'S LEAGUE
PARTY
Masques, women's dramatic society,
will furnish the feature for the first
Women's league party of the year at
4:15 o'clock this afternoon in Barbour-:
gymnasium. "Nevertheless," one of
Stuart Walker's Bandbox theater plays
will be presented by three members
of the club, Frances Maire, '21, Min-
nie Louise Pratt, '21, and Mary Ives,
'23.
This play is of special significance
at this time because of the fact that
the plot centers about a little boy and
girl who have been confined in their
room until they can learn to use bet-
ter English. In all schools over the
country this is "good English week."
Following the play there will be
singing led by the Girls' Glee club.
Games will be played and an orchestra
will furnish music for dancing.
Dean Jordan to Meet House Presidents
Newly elected presidents of Uni-
versity houses will be entertained by
Dean Myra B. Jordan with a supper
to be held at 5:30 o'clock Monday eve-
ning, in Barbour gymnasium. Every
University house holding more than
four girls should have elected a pres-
ident and invitations have been issued
from Dean Jordan's office to them. If,
by mistake, some one of these girls
has failed to receive her invitation,
she should notify Dean Jordan's of-
fice.
If you can walk you can dance aft-
er four private lessons with Mle.
Jeanette Kruska or Phillip Miller, '23.
Let us prove the fact. For appoint-
ment call 2308-R between hours 12-2
or at the Studio, 324 E. Huron (two'
blocks west of the High School).-Adv.

Mrs. Fox was bragging one day about the large
number of her cubs.
"How many cubs do you bring into the world at
one time?" she asked the LIONESS.
"Only ONE," replied the Lioness-"but it's a
LION."
