IMortarboard will meet at 8 o'clock
tonight at the Chi Omega house.
There will be a meeting of all soph-
omore women at 4 o'clock this
afternoon in Barbour gymnasium to
discuss plans for next year's junior
adviser work.
All members of the Y. W. C. A. are
asked to attend the meeting at 4
o'clock this afternoon. Installation of
officers will take place.
Girls wishing to take part in the
Maypole dance to be given on Lantern
night, June 7, are requested to sign
up on the bulletin board at Barbour
gymnasium or at the field house at
Palmer -field before Friday noon of this
week.
The women's Cosmopolitan club pic-
nic will be held at 5 o'clock this
afternoon. Members are asked -to
meet at Newberry hall at that time.
Rehearsal of cast and choruses' of
the first act of Senior Girls' play will
be held from 3 to 6 o'clock this art-
ernoon in Sarah Caswell Angell hall.
A baseball game is scheduled for
4:45 o'clock this afteiloon between
Newberry residence and Kappa Kap-
pa Gamma sorority.

next year will be discussed at the
meeting of all sophomore. girls at 4

SOCIETIES UNITE
IN JOINT PROGRAM
Athena Literary society and Adel-
phi held a combined meeting of the
two societies Tuesday night in the
Adelphi room. Each society furnish-
ed half ot the program.
Catherine Stafford, '24, read Ste-
phen 'Leacock's "Gertrude, the Gov-
erness"; Louise Graham, '23, gave a
piartlogue; and Vera Andrus, '18,
deliyered an extemporaneous .talk on
"Freshmen dormitories-/ for men".
Herman August, '21L, led the meet-
ing in a 20 minute parliamentary
drill which proved to be one of the
most amusing parts of the entire pro-
gram. Norman Buchan, '22, and sev-
eral other members ok Adelphi sve
extemporaneuos speeches.
