Bird books are displayed in another, case. These include books on birds of Australia, the Trockilidae, and Birds of Paradise. A Koran "written at Medinah at the Garden of the, Prophet in the year A. H. 964" is shown in its original binding of brown leather with gold ornaments. This book was shipped to England in separate groups of sheets -by an Ar- menian in order to avoid its being held back by the authorities. Another Koran of the seventeenth century is also on display.
